Apple iOS 13 - September 19th 2019

iOS 13 became available to download on iPhones on Thursday 19 September, but early adopters have encountered bugs and even a security flaw that could allow access to Contacts.

For this reason you might prefer to hold off updating your iPhone to iOS 13 until Apple updates the software.

The good news is that Apple is issuing an update to iOS 13.1 on Tuesday 24 September, which will address many of the early problems, as well as introduce new features.

The new iOS release is still a great update with many new features includong Dark Mode which saves on battery usage.

Give it a go & see what you think.

Windows 7 Operating System Support Will End - January 14th 2020

Microsoft are ending support for the Windows 7 Operating System, but what does this mean for end users?

Windows 7 will no longer receive Windows Updates or Security Fixes.

Also third party software companies will soon follow & future updates of their software packages & drivers will no longer support Windows 7.

What can be done to fix this?

Windows 10 is now the most up to date operating system & as long as the computer or laptop is of a high enough spec then the operating system can be upgraded.

Other upgrades to improve performance with Windows 10 are RAM (Memory) upgrades & SSD (Sold State) hard drives.
